Highlights From The Vanilla Bean Maturity Survey

News In Uganda, we know that vanilla beans need to reach full maturity to reach their maximum flavor and quality potential. The vanilla bean maturity survey is an annual exercise held by The Association of Vanilla Exporters in Uganda (VANEX) and the Government of Uganda to determine the best start date for the vanilla harvest. In May, the exercise was conducted in the producing regions. The collected information will be analyzed in order to inform a recommendation to the government for the date it should declare as the start of the upcoming vanilla harvest. That’s one of the ways we work to offer some of the best vanilla in the world.
